TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated: May 27, 2026
By visiting scalethedepths.io you agree to the following terms. They are written in plain English because nobody reads ten-page legalese anyway.
1. Fan site, not official
This site is an unofficial fan resource for the game Scale the Depths, which is created and owned by Glass Gecko Games and published by Pretty Soon / Phoenix Games. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of those companies.
2. The game embed
The browser-playable version of Scale the Depths embedded on this site is the freely-distributed demo originally released by the developers on itch.io and Steam. All game assets, code, and intellectual property remain the property of Glass Gecko Games and the original development team (Serpexnessie, Mancavea, Kar2fast, 4n6u, E-man248, Pepocandii, and contributors).
If you are the rights holder and would prefer we remove or modify the embed, email us at hello@scalethedepths.ioand we'll comply promptly.
3. Our content
Original content created by us — guides, wiki pages, tips, screenshots of our own playthroughs, infographics — is licensed under Creative Commons BY-NC 4.0. You may quote and reference it freely with attribution.
4. No warranty
We provide this site "as-is" for entertainment and informational purposes. We make no guarantee that guides are accurate, that the browser game will run on your device, or that the site will be available at any particular time.
5. Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to attack, overload, or scrape the site programmatically.
- Don't copy our original guides wholesale to other sites without attribution.
- Don't use the site to harass or impersonate others.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, scalethedepths.io and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site.
7. Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced on the homepage. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the site operator resides. Disputes will be handled in good faith via direct communication first.
