◇ What a 100% run actually requires
Scale the Depths does not have a single completion bar. Each of the four worlds tracks its own Secrets set, and a world only stamps as done when you have every piece of it: all of its artifacts, all of its messages in a bottle, and its one legendary fish. Miss a single item and the stage stays unstamped — which is why most “why isn’t this 100%” problems come down to one skipped pickup.
Because later worlds stay locked until you progress, run order and completion order are the same: Loch Ness, then Huatulco, then Outer Banks, then Point Nemo. The fastest approach is to clear each world fully before moving deeper, using its walkthrough video for the route and the checklist below to confirm nothing is missing.

🏴 Loch Ness — Stage 1
Loch Ness (Scotland, United Kingdom) tracks 3 documented artifacts toward its 100% stamp.
🇲🇽 Huatulco — Stage 2
Huatulco isn't a normal fishing level — it's a pressure-plate puzzle route with a legendary fish at the end. Here's the full 100% path, in order.
▶ Route in order
- Opening route — Grab the first messages, the boat blueprint and the first money chest before the puzzle doors become the main route.
- Southwest plate — Push the block onto the lower-left pressure plate to open the first door.
- Southeast plate — Move the block onto the lower-right plate for the next door.
- Early side pocket — Grab the first cosmetic in the small side pocket after the first door sequence.
- Straight-south door — Push the block straight down onto the south plate.
- First artifact pocket — Collect the Quetzalcoatl Statue — your first major Huatulco artifact.
- Middle route — Open the money chest, solve another south-plate step, hit the Red Switch and use the west plate.
- Dense artifact chain — Collect a message, the Rubber Ball, the Aztec Sun Stone and the Shark Tooth bait — they sit close together.
- Shortcut + cosmetic — Hit the Yellow Switch, then grab the second cosmetic in the side pocket before Blue Switch 1/2.
- Blue switch route — Activate Blue Switch 1/2 and 2/2, grab the nearby message, then pick up the Coffee Cup artifact.
- Late collection — Pick up the Pouch bait, the boat decal and the cloth chest.
- Legendary fish — Head to the final deep route, catch Hoga and prep it carefully.

🏖️ Outer Banks — Stage 3

- Early artifact route — Pick up the Rat King Plush, then drop the boulder to change the route.
- Compass route — Collect Message 2, the Compass bait, a money chest and the Bio-specimen Containment Unit.
- Legendary fish marker — Note the Lost Dimetrodon route, but save the real catch for the end.
- Cosmetic + Sonar Receiver — Grab the first cosmetic, then fully clear the bush to uncover the Sonar Receiver artifact.
- Middle artifact chain — Collect Jar of Dirt and Canned Bread, then unlock the southwestern path shortcut.
