Orca Favorite Fish — What to Serve in Scale the Depths

Orca appears in Point Nemo and pays a favorite tip for Giant Oarfish. Giant Oarfish is Orca's signature — no other customer treats it as a favorite, so any Giant Oarfish you land has exactly one ideal buyer.

There are two versions of Orca. The base pays up to 1100 (880 base + 220 tip); the rarer variant pays up to 1625, a 525-coin jump for the same fish. A variant of Orca is always worth serving over the base when both are on screen — same catch, bigger payout.

Keep Northern Anchovy and Blackspotted Puffer and Moorish Idol and Common Clownfish away from Orca — those are the fish that lower its payout. Everything else is fair game as long as it fills the hunger of 1600.

Giant Oarfish is caught in Point Nemo — the same world where you meet Orca, so you can serve it fresh without backtracking. It has 300 health and a feed value of 800. Scale it cleanly to clear Orca’s favorite threshold and bank the 220-coin tip.

The orca, also known as the killer whale, is the largest member of the dolphin family. It can grow to more than 5 metres in length and is found in oceans around the world, from icy polar seas to warm tropical waters. Orcas are highly intelligent and social animals that live in family groups known as pods. Many pods are led by older females and include closely related individuals that often stay together for life. These groups communicate using complex yocalizations and frequently work together to hunt. Each pod can develop its own hunting techniques and behaviours, passing them down through generations. In some cases, orcas have been observed playing with their prey or killing without feeding right away.
